Hi. A newish client of mine who had had shoulder problems for fifteen years went to Airrosti Rehab and felt significant relief in one session. They did apparently very deep myofascial release on her. Here's the summary: http://www.airrosti.com/whatisairrosti.html
Apparently Airrosti trains physical therapists and chiropractors to do this work. I am not trained in MFR, and what I'm trying to understand is whether what they are doing is different than one of the MFR techniques I could get trained in--whether they are doing something faster and more expedient. Does anyone know?
They take insurance, and you don't need a primary care referral to go to them! So I am referring people with stubborn old injuries to them, AND referring people with newer injuries---injuries I might be able to help--to them if their insurance will cover it and they're not looking for a full body massage. (Yes, this will make a dent in my practice!!)
I understand Airrosti may not target structura/alignment issues, and am looking into that. In the meantime, I am just wondering what y'all know.
Thank you!
