Advice needed.

I have a Diploma in Manual Lymphatic Drainage whereby I underwent an intensive 2 days course of how to perform Manual Lymph Drainage. My insurance quotes that I can perform the manual lymphatic drainage, except in case of lymphoedema.

If someone needs a MLD massage after a liposuction of the tummy, would I be able to do the treatment?

Any opinions will be appreciated.

Your best bet is to ask your insurance company about that

I would refer your client on to someone who has done a longer course in MLD (Vodder for instance) just in case the procedure has compromised the lymphatic system in some way (sadly, it can happen) - with Mods permission - www.mlduk.org.uk has a list of qualified therapists

Thank you Jojo and Jabba for your replies. I did speak to my insurance people, and they were ok with me doing the treatment, BUT, yes a BIG BUT, only after 6 weeks post op or written letter from DR. before treatment, which was quite fair.

At least you know now bats, it's always best to ask your insurance company, your client will enjoy their treatment, let us know how you get on x
