I am soon to graduate and I was thinking of the NEXT step. I am considering adding on a certification/training/specialty... maybe accupuncture, i was even considering going to chiropractic school...is anyone trained in anything else other than MT and if so what are some suggestions that might go well with massage..thanks!! ;D

PM Texas-Gal, she's a chiropractor as well as MT. I too am considering going to school for chiro, but I guess until then, I'm not much help, hehehe.

LOL (at myself!) I thought you were looking for techniques for ADD (attention deficit disorder) so I was going to suggest cranio-sacral as a good choice for that.I would still suggest it as it seems to be growing in popularity and goes well with chiro and massage.Kirsten

After I get out of MT school I plan on taking a personal training course .  I am also looking into breath work.  Accupuncture does seem interesting though.  There is just so much to do.  Plus when you are done with one you can always add on another. ;D

Several instructors at school really got me interested in Nutrition. If I go back to school,,, it will be for nutrition. It was great to have Naturpathic doctors & students for instructors,,, they would go off on tangents about what they believe in & we would learn so much.

I am going to be training to be a yoga teacher soon. I think it goes well with massage... and i often assign my clients yoga postures for various problems. of course, chiropractic is a great adjunct to massage... many of them already give "mini massages" prior to adjustments.
