abercrombie and fitch flagship singapore?

i've heard that abercrombie and fitch is setting up a flagship store in singapore. will they start recruiting casting members in advance before the flagship store opens? will they use local models or a&f models for the flagship opening in singapore? i am asking this is because my friend was approached by A&F scouts saying that he's eligible to become a casting member even though the store doesnt open till later this year.
