A Beijing Experience

I went to Beijing about a month ago for a holiday, not specifically for any mongering action but did a bit of hunting around. Am not particularly experienced so accept I may have been ripped - I am really just sharing my experience in the hope it may be useful to someone.

Okay first up - you get offered sex almost everywhere. On the street, in bars, in freaking malls! Its insane. Getting a good shag however is quite difficult.

The first thing I found out to avoid (from other ex-pats out there) are the random girls who will talk to you when walking around any shopping area. The famous Wanfuxing Street for example will have uou hit about 3 or 4 times. They will ask if you want to go for a drink and end up ordering the most expensive thing and after it all you may not even get a shag. In fact you may even get guys or couples doing this. I don't really get that but it happens.

The 2 main areas for bars to score in are San Li Tun and Ho Hi. these are pretty much what you can expect anywhere i think. Go in look at the girls, ask one or two to join you buy drinks work out a price etc. Drinks are obviously more expensive here as you'd expect but to be fair if you're from a western economy there's nothing to get upset about.

The thing that shocked me the most and probably the best place i found for action was walking along the street near any area with the major hotels. I got hit totally left field when I was innocently walking home. Now there are two kinds of girls that will approach. The first are those that are representing other girls. You can literally stand there on the street corner (it was about 2 am when I was doing this) they call and a car drives up with a few girls in - you look choose, agree price and you're off. I guess the service is pretty much luck. Its something like 1000 RMB at the very tops for all night. And thats a hell of a lot. The nice thing is that there's no fuss or trouble if you choose not to. In fact I have to say that no where along the way is there any trouble at all - you might get ripped off but no threats, or violence just around the corner. Its a super safe environment.

Okay the second type of offer is by girls on their own and tehse are probably the best bet. Usually not pros and just trying to make ends meet. If you get on its probably pretty genuine and though the service may not be PSE it should be nice enough.

As for the areas for these kind of approaches, I found 2:
Jinbao Street but also round the other side of that block outside the Hyatt
And
Jianguomenwai Street around the area of the Silk Street Market (west of there) theres loads of hotels

Prices: depends how good you barter. In the bars they may ask you for 100RMB just to start a chat which is normal dont feel ripped thats that kind of bar, if you dont like move on. For sex well I paid anywhere between 400RMB to 1000RMB so I have no idea. It wasn't like thats what I was there for and I was on holiday so didn't mind but I reckon I paid over the odds.
