3 arrested following massage parlor investigation - KGNS

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Multiple women were arrested during an investigation into two Laredo massage parlors.

Lingfang Sun, Lingling Lu and Chunmiao Wong were arrested and taken into custody after Laredo Police said they found violations of Texas state ordinances regulating such establishments.

The arrests occurred on Wednesday, November 20, when the Laredo Vice and Compliance Units followed up on their investigation.

Police say that the businesses were operating without a license, raising concerns about health and sanitation issues, along with allegations of prostitution.

Additionally, authorities reported that some individuals resisted arrest during the investigation.

According to Investigator Joe Baeza with Laredo Police, “One of the business owners locked the door on the officers as they as they were approaching. They [PD] can visit these businesses because they follow ordinances. They can go and inspect the place. The place can be inspected if requested by law enforcement. They had to go and obtain a search warrant, which they were given, and then they returned to the business and used force to enter.”

All three women involved were booked and taken to the Webb County Jail.
