1st Pamper Party: what can I expect

Hi all,

I will be doing my first hen pamper party. Organised by someone else, I just need to pitch with my accessories and do the mmassage. They will have previously filled out a consultation form before hand so massage time is maximised

I will be doing 6 half hour sessions.

what can I expect? ie: will most people be specific about what they want? will it mostly be back massage? What is feasable in less then half an hour on the table. (I will be doing some half hour practice sessions before then)


Any else you have to share would be great. Are their any corners I can cut etc etc.

Good luck with the pamper party. Do make sure that you take some of your business cards and any other promo info to give the ladies.

Most people will probably say they need a back massage. If someone is uncomfortable about undressing you could always do a leg & foot massage or a head and face massage.

Even with just 30 mins I always ask if there are any areas that they want particular focus on. With a 30 minute massage you can really only do the back. Spend about 20 mins doing the back and then get them to turn over. The remaining 10 mins can be spend on the some head, neck, arm and hand massage.

Don't rush the massage & do take your time as you'll be doing 3 hours of work. See if you can take a quick break after 3 cleints. You'll probably be there for longer than you expect as ladies love a natter.

I have read the other pamper threads and I didnt really find the information there I was looking for so yes, hopefullly others have more to add.

I have found that sending out treatment menu's with the consultation sheets have helped which makes it all flow a bit easier. If its to late to do that, you could phone each of the ladies and introduce yourself and talk about what you are offering and what would they like, a nice ice breaker before the evening.
